Many District 4 residents live within the City of Pensacola, meaning they often pay “double” for certain services through both city and county taxes. Joe Vinson will work toward better interlocal agreements to ensure that city residents receive a fair return on their county tax dollars. This includes better coordination with the City to prevent duplication and maximize value for every taxpayer. We need one cohesive vision for service delivery that eliminates waste.
Public transit is no longer a luxury; it is an economic necessity. As gas prices remain a concern, ECAT (Escambia County Area Transit) must become a viable, reliable option for a larger percentage of our workforce. If we want to reduce traffic congestion on our bridges and beaches, we must provide a transit system that people want to use.
Finally, Joe will push for “One-Stop” digital government services. Residents shouldn’t have to navigate a maze of departments to pull a permit or report a pothole. By modernizing our digital interface and ensuring we meet and surpass digital accessibility standards, we make county services more accessible to everyone—regardless of their schedule or physical mobility.
Real change starts with people like you — engaged, informed, and ready to take action. Whether you’re signing a petition, making a donation, or helping to spread the word, your involvement moves us one step closer to a brighter future for Escambia County.
